We built Coachvyne because the VP got zero coaching.

Rachel Kim spent 6 years running leadership programs at fast-growing companies. Every year, the team around the C-suite got coaching budgets. The directors and VPs who actually ran the company got a 360 survey and a talking-to. Coachvyne is the answer to that specific problem.

Leadership isn't trained in seminars. It's trained in the moment you don't have.

Simulation-based learning has worked for pilots, surgeons, and special forces for decades. It should work for executives too. The technology exists. The scenarios are knowable. The gap is that nobody built the product for the director who's about to be thrown into their first board presentation with zero preparation.

The people who built it.

Rachel Kim
CEO & Co-Founder

Rachel spent six years designing and running leadership development programs at growth-stage technology companies — including two full director-to-VP cohort programs. She co-founded Coachvyne in 2022 after watching the same pattern repeat: detailed coaching for the C-suite, a 360 survey for everyone else. She holds an M.S. in Organizational Psychology from UC Berkeley.

Marcus spent four years building conversational AI systems at an enterprise learning platform before joining Rachel to design the Coachvyne simulation engine. He focused on the hard part: making the AI conversation partner respond to what a leader actually says, not what the script anticipated. Based in Oakland.
